About us

WAN S.A is a Warsaw based real estate and development company, which has been active for the last 22 years in four market segments: residential, office, warehouse and lodging. Projects completed to-date have been mainly designated for sale, though, over the years the Company managed to amass its own commercial and residential real estate portfolio with assets in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Płock and in the Mazury region.

In 2017, WAN completed the construction of Wielicka Apartments Stage II in Cracow, moreover Osiedle na Zdrowiu residential project in Łódź was launched. In the years 2018-2020 further projects are planed: Marymoncka Apartments Stage II, Logistic Centre in Załuski near Warsaw, the office building at Śląska Str. in Gdańsk and the office building in Warsaw at Jana Pawła II Avenue.

Company's main selection criteria to ensure success of its investments include: a carefully identified attractive location, an original project and the use of latest technologies.

Examples of WAN's winning investment include:

  • an apartment building on Bielawska Str. in Warsaw – located in Mokotów and completed in 1999, it was one of the first modern buildings in the capital city: with monitoring, underground parking amd penthouses on top floors;
  • an office-residential complex Babka Tower – the highest residential building in Poland for many years, where WAN S.A.'s offices are now registered;
  • an office complex on Postępu 3 in Warsaw – leased for 10 years to Polkomtel S.A.- the operator of Plus GSM mobile network. This letting was the biggest office lease transaction in Poland in 2004.

WAN's present market position has been achieved thanks to harmonious cooperation with highly-regarded architects such as JEMS Architekci (designers of the Metropolitan building in Warsaw, the offices of Gazeta Wyborcza) or Kulczyński Architekt (the Warsaw Olympic Center), lenders (PKO Bank Polski, BRE Bank, BNB Nord, Reiffeisen, DZ Bank, BGK) and partners such as publicly listed Echo Investments, with whom two projects have been realized together.

In 2007, 25% of WAN S.A.'s shares were acquired by a fund managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate, a group owned by Morgan Stanley, one of the leading global financial institutions.

The market position of our Company has been cyclically confirmed by the Developer's Certificate or by the Financial Credibility Certificate issued by Dun & Bradstreet, an international agency.
